After working in general garage servicing since the 70`s
when the Rover P6 range of cars was “modern Cars"
John Wood &, myself, Peter Aspinall,
both staunch Rover enthusiasts,
decided to form a business dedicated to the Rover P6 range,
and in January1989 Rovers Return was born.
We started trading from a rather small unit

Holt Mill Whitworth Very soon outgrowing this small unit we moved to
larger Premises at Holt Mill at Whitworth in 1991.
In the early 1990`s we was forced to change our trading name,
after a rather costly dispute with Rover over our use of
the word Rover in our trading name of Rovers Return, to
J P Restorations.

In September 2001 we moved to smaller but more modern
premises at The site of Britannia Mill Crawshawbooth.
In 2005 John Wood retired and emigrated to Canada,
since which time I have continued to provide a
